Cream Soup Dry Mix

1 cup dried milk powder
1 cup sweet rice flour (or white rice flour – we like the sweet better, it’s less grainy)
2 tablespoons minced onions, dried
4 tablespoons powdered soup boullion (make sure it’s GF!)

Mix all together.  Use 3-4 tablespoons mixed with 1-1/4 cups of water to make a cream of chicken soup.  Or you can dump the dry mix and the water separately into a casserole, and just mix all together.  The flour and milk powder will thicken the liquid as the casserole cooks.

  1. I was reading your recipe about Tetrazzini and saw the link to this Cream Soup Dry Mix. Wow! What a great find! My daughter found out about a year ago that she is a Celiac and we have been trying to change our recipes to GF. But the cream soup thing is so hard….This is something I will make up and use. Thanks for sharing it.
