This is a picture of my hubby. He so very cooperatively and sweetly agreed to pose with my new The Essential Gluten-Free Grocery Guide 5th Edition. I have been having seriously bad hair days for about a week and my hairdresser is on vacation (I really need a trim!) so I didn’t want to take a picture of myself. So here’s Brad telling you that this book is #1!
This past week, I received a copy of the NEW 5th Edition of The Essential Gluten-Free Grocery Guide by Triumph Dining to use and review. I have been using the 4th Edition for quite a while now and absolutely love its ease of use and quantity (and quality!) of information, so I was thrilled to see that the 5th edition was more than twice as thick (meaning more companies are giving gluten-free statements)!
This book is incredibly useful in looking up items’ gluten free status, instead of searching out the manufacturers’ statements online. Basically this book has already done that work for me.
This grocery guide has multiple different “categories” of gluten free. They have sought out and spoken with every company listed in the book, and categorize each item/brand using several different criteria, such as cross-contamination potential, labeling practices, cleaning practices between batches, and multiple other factors. In addition, many companies simply claim “our products are gluten free” but give no further information. The book goes into all these details for each company.
For over 5 years I argued with myself that I didn’t need a book to help me, and went to all the work of researching myself. But since having The Essential Gluten-Free Grocery Guide I truthfully don’t know how I made it for so long without it! It is truly the best resource I have ever come across for simplifying your life and saving you time and money!
Now for the fun part! Triumph Dining has agreed to give away a FREE copy of The Essential Gluten-Free Grocery Guide 5th Edition to one lucky winner! If you’d like to enter the giveaway, please fill out the short form below.

Love that the hubby is promoting this!
I have a copy of the 4th edition that I just bought a few months ago…I can’t believe it’s already out of date! So excited to hear that this one is “new and improved.” Thanks for sharing!

I’m a fairly new gluten-free, dairy/casein-free, soy-free consumer/patient and would love to receive this free book. I’ve cleaned out my pantry and fridge of all offending foods and am now in the process of restocking. Thank you for the opportunity to win this book!
