Reminder: Chex Cereal $0.80/Box at Target!

Apple Cinnamon Chex

Just a reminder: This deal is only valid through Saturday, 2/23!

Beginning Sunday, February 17, 2013, Target has the following promo going on: Buy 5 boxes of select General Mills Cereal at $2.50 each, get a $5 gift card!

I have tested this deal and it’s even better than I had originally posted! The types of Chex that are included in this Target deal are:

  • Apple Cinnamon
  • Honey Nut
  • Cinnamon

This is the deal I did:

Buy 5 boxes of Chex at $2.50 each
Use two $1/2 General Mills Cereal coupons from the 1/27 SS
Use one $0.50/1 Chex coupons found here
Stack with the $1/3 General Mills Cereal Target coupon found here
Pay $9, get back a $5 Target gift card
Final Cost: $0.80 per box

I did this deal 4 times, in separate transactions, using the gift card from the previous transaction for each subsequent transaction. It will be up to you whether you choose to use more than one of the Target coupons.

I do want to explain a bit further, just so you don’t think I’m disobeying the terms on the coupon, which clearly state “one coupon or offer per guest”. I had quite a lengthy discussion with the Target manager a while back, when I went in with my husband and used 2 of the same coupon in one transaction. I considered each of us a guest, but she argued up and down that even though it said “guest” it meant “transaction”, and that I could use as many of the coupons as I was allowed to print, as long as they were in separate transactions. I strongly recommended that Target change their terminology to state what they actually meant, but apparently that is what my Target is training their cashiers, so I figured I would go along with it. Just please make sure you’re following the rules at your particular store.

$1.50/2 Nescafe Taster’s Choice Coupon = $0.27 at Target

Nescafe Taster's Choice

Reminder: Don’t forget to print this coupon while it’s still available!

There is a coupon available on Coupon Network for $1.50 off when you buy any TWO NESCAFÉ® TASTER’S CHOICE® 5ct/6ct/7ct OR 20ct/22ct Stick Packs. The 6 and 7 count packages are priced around $1.02 at Target, so just $0.27 each after this coupon when you buy 2. They are probably quite inexpensive at Walmart as well.

Possible Chex for $1 at Target Next Week!

Apple Cinnamon Chex

I am posting this deal so you can print your coupons in preparation for this great up and coming deal!

Beginning Sunday, February 17, 2013, Target has the following promo: Buy 5 boxes of select General Mills Cereal at $2.50 each, get a $5 gift card! The sizes that are included are 9-14 ounces. Now, I do not know if Chex will be included, but I do know that several kinds of Chex are between 9 and 14 ounces. So, you will want to print your coupons, so if they are included, you will be prepared! Also, even if you have 2 computers, you will only have 4 coupons, and you need 5 to do this deal for ONLY Chex and still get them for $1. But, if you have a gluten-eating member of your household, you could add in other cereals and still get the average of $1 per box. So you will need to adapt this deal to your situation.

Here’s what I am doing, if the Chex are included:

Buy 4 boxes of Chex at $2.50 each
Buy 1 box of Cheerios at $2.50 (for me, the only gluten eater in my household)
Use four $0.50/1 Chex coupons found here
Use one $0.50/1 Cheerios coupon found here
Pay $10, get back a $5 Target gift card
Final Cost: $1 per box

You can find more details on this deal at Totally Target
